WHAT IS Accelerated Brain Retraining?
Accelerated Brain Retraining (ABR) is an advanced experience designed to quickly and sustainably change the way your brain reacts to particular stressors. The goal is to diminish the unwanted habitual negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors that those stressors cause.
It is a process where neural networks (unconscious habits) are modified and updated through Neuroplasticity by introducing a resource inside of a trigger response before an emotional reaction is generated, and replacing it with a preferred response. ABR enables the client to now have a diminished negative response to situations that have historically acted as triggering events.
I use methodologies from Applied Neuroscience, Neuroplasticity, Emotional Uncoupling & Brain Retraining to help you build a Versatile Brain.

How does ABR work?
When confronted with a stressful event, our brain executes a rapid-fire search for an appropriate response by associations based on our past recorded experiences and chooses the most suitable one.
There are just a few milliseconds between the time a thought is conscious and when we execute it, illustrating that the brain prepares to act prior to our conscious awareness.

It is in this cognitive instant, that ABR can redirect your brain to the new, upgraded and preferred response, changing your reaction patterns.
Our reactions to things that trigger us are the result of repeatedly-firing, habitual neural networks (thought patterns) that are unconscious programs. It is of no significance to the non-judgmental part of the brain (unconscious) whether the response is beneficial or not.

**ABR is NOT therapy. It is not suitable for severe mental health issues, trauma, depression or emotional turmoil and does not replace therapy for those complex issues.
In ABR, you are not your "label". It does not analyze your past. You do not talk about or revivify past experiences or issues. This is counterintuitive to brain retraining.

The best thing about ABR, is that you can work on the issues you are experiencing presently without ever having to disclose significant, negative past experiences. All you need to know is what the present issues are, how they are showing up in your life, how they are affecting you and how you want to feel and live instead. This is action-oriented, forward-moving brain retraining.
What can i expect??
Step 1 is to schedule an initial Consultation to assess if you qualify for ABR. I answer questions, share the advantages of ABR and discuss how I will personalize your experience in the program to your specific needs and desires. I introduce Neuroplasticity, Emotional Uncoupling and Neurocoaching education to inform you of how it all works in the long-term. Only serious consultation requests are accepted. Be sure this fits your budget before scheduling a consultation.
Step 2 If we are a good fit for each other, we kickstart the process and begin scheduling your first ABR session.
Your first Brain Retraining session is focused on integrating and upgrading neural networks and providing solutions as I guide your brain for change. By the end of the first session, you will be armed with at least 2 Self-Directed Neuroplasticity Techniques + 2 Self-Enhancing Brain Retraining Practices to continue strengthening the new, positive neural networks we've created.
Each additional session will focus on building on the foundation of the first session and continuing to upgrade neural networks to improve your life experiences. You will continue to learn 2 more Self-Directed Neuroplasticity Techniques + 1-2 more Self-Enhancing Brain Retraining Practices with each session.
Your time in sessions will not be spent talking or venting about your problems or rehashing the past (you've practiced that enough!). That is counter-productive to actually retraining your brain. We don't waste any more time – we hit the ground running! You only have this one life and I'm here to make sure you don't waste any more of it!
You will be meeting me online via Zoom from the comfort of your own home. Partnering with me, for this program is a very gentle, positive, easy and flowing process. It moves quickly and effectively. The majority of my clients notice a profound change in just the first session.

The ABR programs consist of an Accelerated Brain Retraining Program for 6 weeks and and Extended Brain Retraining Program for 10 weeks.
Together, we will decide which program best suits your needs.
We schedule each session 2- 3 weeks apart to allow your unconscious mind to continue sorting, processing and integrating the upgrades each night while you sleep.

ABR sessions are change-dependent, meaning that sessions are active until an update to the targeted neural networks are exhibited. Each session starts with Neurocoaching and investigative questioning, lighting up specific parts of your brain to allow greater access to your unconscious issues.
Next, begins the process of updating the neural networks through a strategic sequence of specialized guidance using Emotional Uncoupling & Neuroplasticity.
Once complete, we move into your Self-Enhancing and Brain Retraining Education to complete the session. This allows you to continue retraining and rewiring your own brain between sessions to continue activating and strengthening the newly updated neural networks.
This is a skill set you will use for the rest of your life. Because of the specialized process, ABR sessions typically last 2- 3 hours.

No. Like hypnosis, ABR aims to make your unconscious more accessible, but does not take you into deep relaxation like hypnosis. ABR slows down conscious brain activity to open the unconscious, making upgrades to neural networks possible. You are awake and aware throughout the session.
More Brain Retraining & Unconscious Mind Education
Research shows that Self-Directed Neuroplasticity techniques are effective and adaptable for everyone. The techniques you will learn can be used in very short amounts of time (15 secs to 2 mins) to quickly calm, soothe and neutralize the nervous system and de-stress the mind and body.
Anything done, said, felt or thought with repetition, becomes a PATTERN that is noticed by your brain and then locked into your unconscious mind, creating a HABIT. A habit is anything your unconscious mind can do better than your conscious mind. Your brain is a pattern recognition system.
This applies to the stories that you tell about yourself on repeat, to yourself, and to anyone who will listen. This actually reinforces those thoughts and feelings and solidifies that into your mind, where you begin attaching and identifying with them. When you are consistently telling that old story, that becomes your reality and you continue training your brain into those thoughts and feelings. You are conditioning your mind into this repeating cycle of thinking & feeling & being.
The great news is, the same way you inadvertently trained and conditioned your brain into a negative mindset, you can use the same process to retrain and recondition your brain into a new, positive mindset.
The reason working with me is so powerful, is because whenever you start turning on those old neural networks, we begin shutting them down and forcing your brain to detour and attach to the new neural networks we’re creating together.
And every time your brain does this, we’re RETRAINING & REWIRING your brain. Your brain is always learning, changing & upgrading itself, learning from the retraining, and updating itself to integrate the new information.
